  1. My understanding is the blind Sheik was there for a very short time and the current leaders have disavowed any ties to him or terrorism.

I do know there was a big gathering on the sidewalk for some religious day, and after the chanting there was a sermon about peace, love and the importance of a good education.

I would be shocked if there were not some anti-Americans in the community here and plenty more who were ambilivilant or had mixed feelings.

Either way, it’s not anything that I see as a threat to my daily life. I’d rather have an organization that the government knows about and can easily investigate rather than one hidden away.

  2. “the middle-eastern folks who live west of Court Street are predominantly Christain Lebanese, who keep their distance from the islamic crowd that hangs between 3rd and 4th Ave.”

keep their distance? That don’t seem like a whole lotta distance to me, lol.

  3. “middle-eastern folks who live west of Court Street are predominantly Christain Lebanese”

An actual FACT, and I PERSONALLY KNOW several of those families who have lived in this area for GENERATIONS.

But, please continue, don’t let facts cloud your hatred, benson.

  4. “Remember that blind sheikh with the santa hat who was convicted in the first WTC attack? He operated out of that area.”

benson, he was not convicted of anything having to do with WTCI, he was convicted for a later plot that never came to fruition.
