To say this company I work for has been in an uproar is an understatement. It has been going on for 1 year and 3 months. Said Mutterer has been demoted, lost his assistant who was fired, and every couple of weeks, the merry go round speeds up and a few people on the outer perimeter get spun off.
The Mutterer is actually a sweetheard, very hard worker but I think he has hit the limit of his adaptability.

Last week I was staying in Orange County, CA. I had dinner at a place in one of the big malls there. This was the Monday after Black Friday. The mall was virtually EMPTY.

I assume a Fiscal emergency means they can’t pay all that they owe ie bondholders, employees, vendors etc.
I thought Christmas trees were from an ancient Germanic custom. Totally pagan. And were adapted to Christmas. Even so, there is nothing at all Christian about a Christmas tree per se. A manger maybe. but the tree, lights, totally secular.
I’m having a physical emergency.
Lots of muttering to themselves here as well. Folks worried about their #s and jobs. Expecting more layoffs in equities this month.
