My friend works for the University of California and she has been whining now since before the crisis, she is really an unhappy camper. Can you imagine paying a state worker with an IOU????
yeah, firings here too. same old same old. after all these yrs, am indifferent to it. of course hitting the lottery tomorrow would allow me to sacrifice myself to save someone (ie I wasnt already on the list)
I think CAL still has IOUs outstanding from 2009. Paul Ryan and company adding new bill which would require states to define their shortfall in pension liabilities, will be in the courts soon. Reps very fearful of having to replenish state’s pension coiffers.
Lech, the Fed and many pro’s are more worry for the lack of sufficient inflation in the econ than inflation getting out of control
CAL will be interesting to watch as it will give us insight to where NY is headed in a couple of years if things don’t change.
rob, try 6pm.com for cheap good shoes.

Isn’t worrying about inflation right now completely missing the plot? Like a superstition during the black plague?
D-Cat, she must be an elegant but practical person. Those are very nice ladyish shoes, but very sensible too.
