You can’t wear a Borsalino unless it feels right to you; it has to be your style. If a watch cap is it for you, it probably looks good on you. BUT……I suggest that you at least go to a hat store, maybe that JJ store, and just try a couple on. Of course, you have to have the right overcoat, etc. The reason I say this is because they LOOK GOOD.
I hope you all know that those two and three letter location stickers have a basis in Europe. They were used on the back of cars to designate countries of residence. I have a friend who had a 1939 Mercedes 540 K and it had “CH” on the back which was Switzerland (Confederation of Helvetica)
m4l, everything is soooo highly correlated now, it’d fall in a correction unless the correction was from some horrible QE decision or gigantic Euro problem, like Spain going insolvent.
A nice hat is worthy of the same investment as a nice over coat. Buy quality and it will last you for years. $250 seems perfectly reasonable for a high quality hat when you consider how much some of the better quality coats are.
DIBS, spain is considered too big to save right? if it fails, it’ll be like titanic – inevitable crash and sinking right?
Prez,
