DH, topic wise, it’s been ZZZZZZZZZZZ here fairly frequent now. stuff that used to interest us is now been-there-done-that. plus now there’s more real estate biz / ad pimping which we dont care one way or another. lastly, no widget to debate prices,….
When I was at SFO airport yesterday, there was lady at the counter next to me with a Westie. Of course, I had to pet the Westie, thinking of my dearly-departed guy. I noticed that he was wearing a “Green Cross” vest and I asked the owner why. She said that her dog had the ability to warn her about upcoming seizures. She said that about 15 minutes before she has a seizure, the Westie starts circling around her. It gives her time to prepare for them.
When I hear a Petula Clark song, it puts a smile on my face. My mom LOVED Petula Clark, and so I grew up listening to her. I have an image of my mom doing the ironing, listening to Petula Clark.
omg i am NOT the only one who complains about the cost of ice cream!!! this tourist wrote this in the thread about people dying on the brooklyn bridge.
“We did the walk in the dead of the summer at 100 degrees, it was fun, took loads of pictures, but walking back we were walking really slow, no I mean really slow…………..
then went to BBP and had ice cream at 100 bucks a scoop….
fun day, we will most definetely do it again, but not at 100 degrees….”
