I’m about to bundle up and head out into the cold. If you all don’t hear from me again, send out a search party. I’ll be the frozen fudgecicle in the black coat, no doubt holding a bag of dollar store goodies and the frozen expression of delight on my face 🙂
it’s cold an nippy outside but it’s like 100 degrees inside everywhere. totally absolutely disgusting. i’d much rather it be 100 degrees outside and air conditioned cold inside.
CatGar – Love, this is my song. Here is a song, a serenade for you. The world cannot go wrong, if in the world, there is you. I know not what the day may bring; without your love there is no spring. So, Love, this is my song; a serenaaaaaade, to you.
Slopey, for me, it’s funny how there are many songs you always heard together, and when you hear one, you’re always waiting for a particular song to play next. I think it comes from listening to albums (and 8-tracks). So, when I hear songs from the 8-track I mentioned earlier, I always expect to hear a certain song next, because it was the early equivalent of a mixed tape. Or when I hear Beatles or CSN&Y or Billy Joel or any number of other songs I originally heard on an album, I expect to hear all the songs in a particular order.
dona, Downtown is a great song, too. I think those are the only Petula Clark songs I like (and prolly the 2 she’s known for).
