  1. “Well, benson- what can I say? I guess I’m not nearly as bloodthirsty as you are. By those lights we should practically cheer the terrorists who are using car bombs to kill us in Iraq- after all, we started it.”

    Bxgrl;

    I see that you are once again competing for the OT trophy of moral purity and light. Fine. You win the award. I have been shamed. I am bloodthirsty for making this statement:

    “I liked that we dropped the A-bomb on Japan. It ended the war that they started, and allowed my dad to come home in one piece.”

  2. quote:
    Be that as it may, lechacal, killing hundreds of thousands of civilians is nothing to be happy about. What we unleashed then is something we are all going to live with (or die with).

    i didnt do anything, nor did anyone in my family i guess, so personally i dont give a crap

    *rob*

  3. I’m talking about gay bombing a giants game M4L. Actually any sport where it’s all super straight guys doing really manly sports stuff would be pretty funny.

    A WWF wrestling match would probably be funniest. Can you imagine everyone just kind of sheepishly walking back out to their pickup trucks in the parking lot? LOL.

    Lech- it’s much easier to take that tack and not look too closely at the results of what we did. That’s how people cope- you just push it aside and don’t deal with the reality. What Truman did was quick, efficient and totally savage. Why he chose to bomb cities I don’t know- but it was a less than ethical action.

  5. I agree with you there. Definitely nothing to be happy about. It’s horrible. The right decision, in my opinion, I’d do it again in a hearbeat, but there’s no denying that what happened was horrible.
