I’m all for our Government not keeping secrets from us unnecessarily, but, from what I’ve heard leaked, this is very damaging to us as a country. Pakistan’s nuclear weapons and potential strikes on Iran really are not matters to be taken lightly, and I for one would much prefer they had been kept secret. I have no problem with “need to know” basis on this one.

I’m pretty savvy about it. Savvy enough to know it’s always a gamble. I’ve had some luck in the past, tho, so that makes me more confident than I probably should be.

I have gotten awfully friendly with the state and the village people. Awfully friendly. I’m sure they’ll all be expecting nice holiday “presents” from me.

I think the Wikileaks people are taking it too far but if I were their lawyer or spokesperson, I’d point out how the FBI kept secret files on MLK and others and when they were released, it was nothing but “REDACTED REDACTED REDACTED.” The government used up all its right to tell us “this is secret” and have it be credible. Now they have to live with the consequences/

I love Christmas – the mood is so wonderful. It fades quickly afterward though – the 27th is just another day to me.
