My Ex-boyfriend used to like to discuss economics with me, using Krugman as his proof of everything. He would say something, and I would try to gently say that is not true and he would say Krugman says it is true. And then he would say if he had his choice of an authority in the matter, he would choose a Nobel Prize winning economist over me. Oh well.
