Hola losers. Please get over to the forum and rsvp for the party and if you’ll be bringing a gift for the RHCC. I want people (particularly non OT readers) to get excited about this party and giving a gift to charity. PLEASE! Thanks 🙂
You know what, I take it back. Krugman is relevant. He’s relevant for the same reason I have always said Sarah Palin is relevant: he has an audience (though his audience is a lot smaller than Palin’s, so he is that much less relevant). Anyone with an audience is relevant.
So I will correct myself: he is relevant, but wrong.
“Throwing up Krugman’s comments is as asinine as if I were to throw up Rush Limbaugh’s, which i don’t.”
Because that was so civil. Right.
Krugman may not be relevant, but he is entitled to his opinion and it’s as relevant as any of them posted here. His take on the economy is just as valid as any of yours.
DH, twice this week a biker made a right turn opposite me (on 2-way street) as I’m completing my right turn whereby they squeezed right btwn me and the car ahead of me. they practically popped out of nowhere. if I was a geezer driver, those 2 would be pancakes and my car would be damaged.
uninsured bikers (100%) is way bigger than % of uninsured drivers
Brooklyn Paper is doing another goose story (ducks this time I guess). I have zero interest in going over there and having fun though – on the last goose thread there was this guy who started saying a lot of weird perverted stuff (the way he expressed disagreement with me was to call me a child molester – wtf?). I know, I know, I went over and riled people up by saying a bunch of crazy shit, but I think what I do is totally different. I call people fucking idiots when I think they’re being fucking idiots, and I say lots of strong things about what they claim to be true, particularly when I don’t think they really understand why they are saying what they’re saying or are mischaracterizing their motivations, but I don’t make ad hominem attacks that are completely unrelated to whatever is being discussed. Calling someone an idiot and questioning their motivations is completely different from saying “I don’t agree with you, you must be a [insert criminal behavior here]”
Maybe others don’t see this distinction but I actually think it’s huge.
At this point I assume Brooklyn Paper is just churning out goose articles because it’s the only way they can get anyone to pay attention to them. I’m not going to do them a favor by increasing their hit count.

CGar, all the crazy work will be “worth it” if they hook you up with juicy bonus else it would be more like a hook in your ass.

and the investment banks and hedge funds, etc like to steal other people’s money.
If we give you superior returns, like we do here, you need to pay the fees.
if your returns are not what you expect, you’re the dummy for paying the fees.
