Yes, counter depth is always more expensive. There are side-by-sides that don’t have the in door ice dispenser but do have them inside the freezer. Also, I find that the ones that are not side-by-side are a lot more practical, with the freezer on the bottom and an ice maker inside. You gotta have the ice maker.
Just keep searching, you’ll find one and then have a local guy order it. The big HD on 59th street has a huge selection.
crap, counter depth fridges are expensive and are side-side fridges alway have to have the water/ice dispenser? and why the F did I knuckle-drag renovating my crown heights pad for so so long?!!! last question is rhetorical but any suggestions on the fridge is appreciated.
Rob – I’ve recently read about a condition where symptoms include problems with certain spatial relations and the author makes reference to lack of ability to read a map as an example. This particular condition is a genetic disorder called permutation for Fragile X.

Rob, there is no such disorder as “dyscartographia”. It’s not even a word.
there is indeed a condition that people have an insane difficulty reading maps and navigating streets and geography. ive read journal articles (reputable ones) about this. maybe im spelling it wrong, but it most certainly is discartographia. are you a medical doctor? then please pur your worms back in your cans and stop being insensitive to peoples disabilities.
we bumped the wall behind the fridge back a few inches so could buy regular not counter-depth. (freezer-on-bottom)

Great advice from the guy who is SOOO sensitive to other people’s lives. Yeah, I’ll take it under advisement.

Kim’s a biter. They stole that concept, Google Me, from Teyana Taylor.
G10, they’ve never seen it, which is what made it so surprising and funny. I think they must have heard me singing it around the home!
Do you watch Watch What Happens? I think Andy Cohen is hilarious. The one with Kelly Ripa and her hubby was a riot. She is so funny…and gorgeous!
That’s your HUSBAND. You’re boyfriend is Gemini. <–totally gonna be famous if you name him that.
