  1. Sharlene’s on Flatbush might work (close to GAP).
    Definitely big enough. I like the place.
    It’s across the street from PS, though!
    (I won’t be there.).

    Not sure that any of the bars on Vanderbilt would work for that kind / size of crowd. Anything good on Washington??

  2. Our main focus is: near more than one train line, and a bus line if possible, not so loud you can’t have a conversation, can fit 50 of us, would give us space without charging us for it, has beer and wine, room to mill about and places to sit.

  3. CGar, no – nothing that makes sense in the North Heights.

    Ishtar – does this mean you will come and hang out?

    I’ve been to BK Social and it was loud – also, the bartenders there might be a little too snobby.

    Williamsburg is a PITA to get to.

    oh yeah – your in the class of people that think the L train enters some sorta of time warp and takes longer to get anywhere in manhattan that areas in brownstone brooklyn on the crappy R and F trains! 😉

    but yeah – wb is not a good venue location
