Sharlene’s on Flatbush might work (close to GAP).
Definitely big enough. I like the place.
It’s across the street from PS, though!
(I won’t be there.).
Not sure that any of the bars on Vanderbilt would work for that kind / size of crowd. Anything good on Washington??
Even if the bar isn’t known as a fun bar I don’t think that matters much. With 50 of us, we make our own fun. I’m more concerned about accesibility, space and noise.
Our main focus is: near more than one train line, and a bus line if possible, not so loud you can’t have a conversation, can fit 50 of us, would give us space without charging us for it, has beer and wine, room to mill about and places to sit.
oh yeah – your in the class of people that think the L train enters some sorta of time warp and takes longer to get anywhere in manhattan that areas in brownstone brooklyn on the crappy R and F trains! 😉

somewhere in FG/CH please – probably the most central neighborhood for everyone.
DH, yeah, that was for you! We should go the Gutter – plenty big. And I like Pete’s, but I think it’s too small for a big gathering.

CGar, no – nothing that makes sense in the North Heights.
Ishtar – does this mean you will come and hang out?
I’ve been to BK Social and it was loud – also, the bartenders there might be a little too snobby.
Brazen Head is small.
Roebling Inn is sterile. Been there a few times, and it always leaves me cold.

Williamsburg is a PITA to get to.

but yeah – wb is not a good venue location
Brooklyn Social is loud? 🙁 Well, we’ll check out everything over there and tour PH as well.
