Denton – I saw a bullfight – in Malaga actually. I thought it wouldn’t bother me but it did – not a fair fight – 3 against one. And I felt terribly when the bull peed himself in fear.

Not a football fan but my take on that is that he did his time and paid his debt and he deserves his shot at making his living in his chosen profession. That’s the liberal pov on this 🙂

I’ve seen bullfights in Spain. Don’t really bother me. Mrs. D approves, of course it’s part of her culture. I’d like to see a cockfight one day. I think I’ll skip dogfights tho.
cockfighting,bull fighting and dog fighting is a disgusting display of a culture’s ignorance towards animal life for human entertainment obviously….
total agreeance, but if the day comes where i need to enter my dog in fights, i will. youre dealing with human beings who need money and exploiting other species, something that has happened since the dawn of time. (obviously i would never really enter my dog in a dog fight, but i feel like some people feel they have to, which is fucked up and sad). even more scary is they can see their “pet” get maimed and not think anything of it. gross. we lived in a terrible world.

Animal torture? My cats are going nuts to get at the bird feeders. I wonder if I should take them down. And, two doves have just been pecking like mad at each other – why’re they considered symbols of peace?

I think so. One involves beasts that were raised to be vicious brutes who don’t have the mental capacity or means to protect themselves and make their own decisions and the other involves dogs.
