A- is unfair for The Deer Hunter. I’ll change that to an A. But it does not get an A+ on account of the completely ridiculous premise that Christopher Walken became a professional player of Russian Roulette.
I give this weekend a B overall. I watched 2001 A Space Odyssey (A+), Inglorious Basterds (C-) and The Deer Hunter (A-), all for the first time. I shined four pairs of shoes and started reading Little Lord Fauntleroy to my kids. That was all good but I had to work a lot so I barely got out of the house.
actually conversate IS a word. if something is spoken it is automatically a word. how can you deny that fact? id much rather people conversate using “made up” words than having to hear peoples terrible nasal speech patterns where they end every sentence in a question. that is what drives me nuts and sounds like nails on a chalkboard. i think that’s one of the reasons, perhaps one of the main ones, as to why im not a big fan of ethnically ambiguous white people. they hurt my ear drums.

rob – Granted it *is* a word but it’s a defective one. I’ve never understood why the Brits say “orientate” either – unnecessary & ugly.
Uh, ok.

I wonder how much guff Lopate’s going to get for saying he’s glad he no longer has to walk his dog.
Why do people say “I feel badly” when they mean “I feel bad”?
Cobble’s BH is much younger than that man pictured!
