Now that I think about it, how many people in finance actually end up using calculus in their jobs? Maybe the Children’s Lit course was more practical after all!
Legion – Wish I had a t.v.!
Biffy – did you tell the prof that your yardstick (a little poetic license there) was whether you used up one of your ten for the day while you were reading about Pooh’s Honey Pot?
I think I would have to sell my home if I were to put two dollars into a jar every time I got an erection.
Regarding Pooh, in University I took a Children’s Lit course as an elective. You know when the professor gets up the first day and says, “I hope you all aren’t expecting this to be a Mickey Mouse course” that the odds are it IS a Mickey Mouse course. After all, the professor who taught my Calculus and Linear Algebra for Commerce Students never had to make such a declaration. We all knew the first day that the entire class would basically fail every exam and have to be bell curved so enough students would pass it. The Children’s Lit course ended up being as bogus as I expected: asking us to consider such idiotic concepts as the erotic symbolism of Winnie getting his paw stuck in the honey pot.
I went to Flushing Meadow Park this weekend and
ended up in a Nickelodeon commercial with the family.
We were taking pictures near the Unisphere (Didn’t know it was built by US Steel by the way)
and a camera crew walks up to us and asks if we watch
any shows on MTV or Nick.
My kids immediately jumped on that one and said yes
to ICarly and Dora the Explorer.
So they asked if we’d do a 10 year anniversary video message for Dora.
They also got some skateboarders to do a spot for MTV.
For those who have kids watching Nick, look for Legion
shouting Happy Birthday Dora!
Ishtar – are you around? I need to discuss last night’s episode of RHOA

Does the “h” at the end of Pooh have a negating effect to the scatalogical symbolism of the name???
Did you ever see the Pooh video where he sings “I get misty…”

You’re thinking about it the wrong way. This is 10% of your current costs.
