“I do think he’s right about the very real possibility of civil disorder.
To dismiss him as a chubby right wing troublemaker is to
miss a very real current running through society.â€
I don’t dismiss him. He had me hiding under the sofa. He did a 14 day account of what happens if China stops buying our debt. He said he’d offer solutions after setting out the course of a total global economic meltdown, but he never got to it. He acted as if he thought he had one more commercial break but it turns out the show was over.
Regarding Bush,
I’m surprised they are considered “good times”,
I clearly recall hearing nightly on the news about how
bad the economy was. Even in 2006.
Wars are always run on deficits.
we can certainly argue about the idea of going
ahead with Iraq and Afghanistan but, they’re
always run on deficit spending.
President Obama’s own economic team stated that
unemployment wouldn’t go above 8% WITH the stimulus.
We still stand at 9.6 with real unemployment closer
to 19%.
Everyone has to sit at the table again and get some new ideas going. I’m not convinced by last weeks numbers.
I’m gonna venture a guess that it was an SM3 test. Could be as simple as someone making the dumb dumb dumb dumb decision to test within visual range of shore. Or maybe intentional for whatever reason but they figured any notice it got would be shrugged off, but then Drudge Report picked it up and it became a slow news day circle jerk, which is exactly what this is.
for the record, I know all about Glenn Beck’s ideas and his stand on things.
I know all about Rachel Maddow as well.
I don’t watch his show though. Nor do I watch Rachel Maddow’s show.
I do think he’s a bit too conspiracy oriented. But he is selling a right wing opinion.
His 300,000 person Washington March had nothing more controversial to it than the espousal of three ideas:
Faith, Hope, Charity.
I do think he’s right about the very real possibility of civil disorder.

“Faith, Hope, Charity.”
Yup. Sounds like the Republican plan on the budget deficit.
REMEMBER: Cell Phone Numbers Go Public this month.
REMINDER…. all cell phone numbers are being released to telemarket..
Not true, Urban legend?

I think it was Glenn Beck that said something I thought was really funny, and so true (if not, pls advise who).
“The Democrats tax and spend, the Republicans just spend”
Could just be a test of an SM3.
