  1. Gem;

    I’ve never been to a wedding at Russo’s. Always wanted to go, because I’ve heard that they are “over the top”.

    I went to a wedding on Northern Blvd. on the Queens-Nassau border last year – I can’t remember the name. It was in an old movie theater too. The food was fabulous.

  2. “I didn’t have any trick or treaters at all!!!!! :(”

    That’s too bad. I’m really surprised, dave. Did you see anyone out trick or treating? BH and BoCoCa were mayhem (all the kids seemed to be running in terror away from Pete’s house).

  3. Love the new apartment. The people who work in the building are super nice. The 4 nearby really makes a big difference v. transferring 3x when I was living in PS.

    Oscar is great and we’re picking up a little brother for him! The shih-tzu pup is from a rescue org, left behind from a breeder who couldn’t sell him and thankfully decided not to kill him (sad but true).

    How’s cdog doing? I’m all for the Christmas party, send me the details!

  4. Bubble, bubble, toil and trouble, CGar. And you are in trouble.

    Bxgrl and I were watching a show on syfy last week about an auction house that finds and sells Hollywood artifacts. Margaret Hamilton’s witch hat from the Wizard of Oz sold for $200K at auction. I wish I had some old film props laying around.

  5. it was cold trick or treating. plus it didnt help the boy was very lazy walking and wanted to ride daddy’s shoulder all that time. wife not offering to massage back afterwards was very very disappointing.

  6. I saw a kid dressed as a homemade UNICEF box. That was the best! She had the real little UNICEF box attached to a tiara on her head!

    I was surprised that kids still do this, but sad that only two kids had them. : (
