“Maybe the hype is strong because the book is good. And it’s not just any book that’s great for subway reading.”
Yes, best-sellers are always good books. The second sentence puzzles me. You mean some things are too deep to read on the subway? I never noticed that. My subway limit is 300 pages tho cuz of the weight factor, lol. I read ‘Freedom’ on vacation, would never carry that!
I like Texas, but Rob is right about the climate (at least in the main cities). No spring or fall, just goes from winter to summer like flipping a switch.
question: is the park slope children’s parade really lame or is it entertaining? im not a huge fan of kids, but when they are in costume they kinda make me laugh
Western Texas is pretty dry and not all that humid. It’s eastern Texas that’s hell on earth (even though I find the entire state pretty awful, Austin and College Station being the exceptions).
hardcover books attract vermin, specifically roaches. that’s why i avoid hard cover books when i can and when i can’t it’s best to just sprinkle a little boric acid powder in the spine.

Snaps – Why are you staying tuned to it if it’s so awful?

I’ve recently signed a licensing deal with a costume company. You can go to the party as “Benson”.
Just sayin….

Ok…this nikki minaj person really needs to quit. She’s horrible.
Yeah, the Texas thing must have been because Obama sent so much money to Bush’s state.
This is really laughable liberal democrat logic!!!!
