I am surprised that you don’t like Greta (knowing that you lean to the other side). Of all the mjor players on Fox, she seems to be most squarely in the center.
“I am not having the fight with you you think I am having. I think there was a rush to judgment on Sharrod and Williams, that both were wrongly fired for portions of their remarks taken out of context. Do you disagree? ”
I certainly agree that the Obama administration jumped the gun on the Sharrod firing. To their credit, once they realized that they had been punked, they tried to do right by Sharrod.
The Sharrod incident was an over-reaction. We can speculate as to why it happened: inexperience at handling the blogospere, Obama having lost his mojo, etc.
In the case of NPR, my take is that it was an ideological litmus test in action. Have they rescinded the decision? Have they expressed remorse for it? Not that I know of.

I honestly think that both NPR and the Obama administration acted out of hasty overreaction to the blogopshere. I’m being critical of them.

I do agree one has to pay for clean-up. my boy threw up at a diner and I left an extra $15 to the bus boy to clean it up
dibs – Did you get a NY Times this past Sunday? There’s a magazine-style ad supplement all on intricate (& expensive) watches.
I wonder if anyone boarding a plane and seeing Muslims would think to themselves “Oh good, Muslims on board.”

if you insist on politics, here’s an NYPost headline grabber (not much in content/context but decent attention grabbing headline)
