I don’t like when people make definitive statements like that, ET. Just say it’s the best you’ve ever had.
I love The Chocolate Room. I think their regular chocolate cake is pretty darn good and is at the top of my list, too. I also love their hot chocolate. The kind that isn’t mixed with milk. It’s so thick and creamy.

ET, we had a cake from that exact place for a birthday a while back and it was certainly NOT the most best cake in the world. they also only offer two kinds of the same cake. one is sweeter then the other. we got the sweet one, id opt for the less sweet one as the sweet literally burns your teeth. i dont know how that place is going to stay open with like 3 other much better pastry shops within a one block distance. it’s always, always empty too
plus it’s seriously SERIOUSLY overpriced. the people who work there are nice tho.

Also, Montrose, are you telling me that there is no precedent for tribes in the pre-colonial Americas going to war with each other and subjugating each other? I don’t know the answer, but surely that must have been going on somewhere. Only technology and imagination and ambition stand between that sort of thing and going Eastward.

So far, for me, the chocolate cake at The Chocolate Room is the best.
