Ya know, for the past almost two years of being unemployed I feel like I was grieving/mourning/depressed, and not listening to music at all. Then all of the sudden over the past two weeks, I just noticed, I’ve been cranking the tunes, and yesterday I actually danced all alone in my apartment (Talking Heads -And She Was). I think I’m coming out of it. It’s been a long dark winter of my discontent.

Any Catholics who go to Church in and near Park Slope?
I need to know if there are any “progressive/modern” churches that you guys like going to?
Don’t know about Catholic Churches, Gem.
I’m not a big fan of the Epsicopal churches in PS. Nice people etc but long and poorly organized services (not a political thing – did not get any vibe either way on that).
Best Church service I have been to so far in PS was the Old Reformed Church on 7th & Carroll. I still go into Manhattan most of the time for Church though.
I love that movie, dibs. If I were very wealthy and impulsive I would already be in Savannah.
What’s all this nuclear bomb talk?
We dropped one off the Carolinas

And if you want to see examples of real racism in times of war, read up on what the Japanese did to the Chinese and the Koreans throughout history.
