I first noticed about a year or so ago, MM. I kept wondering why I was home all the time and not putting music on. I’d put some on for an hour and ‘not feel’ it, and turn it off. It was so strange because I used to keep music on at least half the time. I think it is an indicator. Not surprising I guess.
I know exactly what you mean, Cobble. As a former musician, I used to have some kind of music on all the time. Now I rarely listen. I noticed the change as well, and am making myself have music. It definitely is an indicator of mood, and I’ve been pretty depressed for a long time, probably as long as you have.
I would have thought something more upbeat than Fernando for CobbleSnaps.

Cobble, we should sing Abba’s “Fernando” 🙂
And I rarely play music anymore either 🙁 Just not in the mood. *sigh*
I almost never listen to music any more. I kind of miss doing so. I have maybe 10 songs on my ipod but I never listen to them.
(psst I don’t think that “giving” people jobs is Republican philosophy legion).
“you’ve just stated the Republican philosophy,
give the people jobs and the rest will take care of itself!”
DO NOT go there, legion! : P
“You and BH would do a great duet!”
We’d have to find the right song, but I would do that! I bet he would do it. Snaps and I are trying to figure out a duet to do together, too!
I’m above water on my gold short.
