Any Catholics who go to Church in and near Park Slope?
I need to know if there are any “progressive/modern” churches that you guys like going to?
Yes. There are 2 I go to in PS; my parish is Queen of All Saints in Fort Greene, but sometimes I want to go to church at different times, so check out St. Augustines,
and St. Francis Xavier. Check out this website: http://www.masstimes.org. They are nice parishes. My parish is predominately black, so the singing is more passionate than other places, the priest is a doll, and the services may be influenced by all day Baptist services where many of the parishioners may have started their Christian life, but the mass is LONG.
Re progressive, I would love to discuss that, but I just smile to myself, don’t want to be disrespectful, sacriligous, or open up a serious theology debate on the OT. If you ever want to discuss this, email me at:
gem – two bands i’ve been listening to that you might dig:

So, the OTBKB’s price was vodka, Mr. B takes his in cash. Good to know!
“Whaddya wanna bet there was a trade? :-)”
Ooh, interesting, Snaps. Mr. B wheeling and dealing!
“he’s at a yearly revenue run rate of $239,000 based on the current number of listings that has been rising.”
