  1. ..and I wasn’t kidding about the US dropping a bomb on the Carolinas, well actually it was off the coast of Georgia.

“Savannah River, Georgia A nuclear weapon without a fissile core was lost following a mid-air collision. (Tybee Beach bomb)”

  2. Thanks DCB but it’s way too early for me to declare victory on my gold short. I’m above water now, but could be back under water any time. I’m not going to unwind any time soon.

  3. LOL @ the new Barney’s on atlantic avenue. hahahah

Surprise! You Probably Can’t Fit Into Barneys Clothes

Simon DoonanShould you be able to afford Barneys Co-op, the latest addition to Brooklyn’s Atlantic Avenue, you may not be able to fit into the clothes sold there.

One reporter recently tried on a $315 dress, only to discover Barneys offers clothes in three sizes: 1, 2, and 3 (representing small, medium, and large). She says, “I grabbed dresses in size two and three and headed to the fitting room. I’m a small or medium everywhere I’ve shopped, but I took the large because the dress looked like it ran small… but I couldn’t even get it over my hips!”

What’s a girl to do? Call Barneys creative director Simon Doonan, of course—who recently said the store was a perfect fit for Brooklyn. When the reporter questioned if she was too fat for Barneys, Doonan told her, “There are certain designers who are all about the body. Others make an easy fit. You might need to look at other designers that focus less on the body.”

  4. “Is it true the episcopalians don’t believe in the Virgin Mary?”
