I think it’s you who start from a warped premise, b: I stated facts and imo the US is and has been using barbaric practices. Answer to the facts, not to your perceived misconceptions of my attitude. And just because other nations might’ve been barbaric, no reason for us to be so.
And to make it clear about the bombing: you raise the straw man of ‘1m men would be lost in taking the mainland’…did not say that was the alternative. The power of the atom bomb could *clearly* have been demonstrated via less civilian casualties. In the unlikely event the Japanese would not have seen reason after that, bombing a city would still have been an option

DH -well they are from the 90’s – but really hard rock/metal
