Another tunnel or two under the East River??? ROTFLMMFAO. Imagine the cost overruns on that what with the EPA, OSHA, the unions and all the other beuraucratic government red tape in place.
I’m beginnign to think this country really is doomed given the state of the infrastructure and how little progress is being made in comparison to the WPA of the thirties.
I’m glad I’ve got big exposure to emerging markets where things can get done on a timely basis.
rf,
there’s a different between the earnest shrillness of babs which makes large and sweeping pronouncements on the intelligence or psychological fitness of half the country based on their opposition to her world view
and
my use of the same techniques to illustrate that tendency through measured hyperbole.
See my argument about the unborn human above.
donatella,
I only touch on the subject of the unborn to illustrate a very real issue which has implications just as important as civil rights, they are one and the same. Both deal with human rights but I’m only seeing one candidate for governor being examined in depth here for his views.
Both sides could certaily take the moral high ground on either issue, but it’s probably better for us as citizens if neither did.
I think if i ever had to take a bus in this city to work on a regular basis I’d go postal, seriously.
Love ya, Babs, and got your back, too, but I like the B44 coming down NY Ave. We need it here in Crown Heights. Isn’t there a Rogers Ave bus now?
“How about BROOKLYN? There are vast swaths of Brooklyn that are “2 fare” zones”
And this is exactly why I don’t understand why anyone would live in Brooklyn. Not like Brooklyn is really part of the City anyway.
delepp – thanks. Thats it. Time to see it again, I’ve forgotten what happens.
Damage was great.
>What MM said.
