  1. “recent events where it fell off a cliff necessitateted the TARP program” — that was just a market disruption, dibs. don’t exagerate. 🙂
And I agree that TARP was necessary but if Tea Party had its way would never have happened. Bush needed the dems to pass it because the republicans wouldn’t.

  2. “please dont jump off a bridge tho cuz of it.”

    Thanks, *rob*, but:

    A. Biff won’t let me jump off the Bridge.

Second, I’m too short to reach the railing without a ladder.

(iii) I’m really trying not to let it affect me outside work, or even at work for that matter, though this week has been very difficult.

  3. I think that the threat of bringing HR in might be more effective than actually doing it.

Yes, lechacal, 11:45. If it’s just you and me (no homo) other places are always open too

    m4l, where r u???????

  4. DCB, we had “Bagels Fridays” over the summer, and I brought in a huge spread from Bagels on Court, with Temp Tee cream cheese, lox spread, chive cream cheese, veggie cream cheese, you name it, and sent out a funny email letting people know they were there, which got a lot of laughs. No response from her, and she didn’t have a bagel. So the cupcakes are a non-starter.

  5. MM, I don’t think the economy really has much at all to do with who is in office. The recent events where it fell off a cliff necessitateted the TARP program whiich, at this point, has practically returned almost all of the money.

We are still, however, bordering on another downfall and the current administration needs to implement some spending away from some areas and towards others that will actually boost employment and spending. They can’t seem to figure this out let alone do the spending effectively.
