CGar she’s the “too hot for Citi” banker. Showed up to work wearing skin tight clothing and flaunting her bad self and when they fired her she claimed it was because she was too hot.
The current problem is that employers are fearful and unable to understand what’s in sotore for them coming from an incessant amount of new government regulations.
Uncertainty is the primary cause for the lack of job creation.
Dave, that’s an absurd excuse. What government regulations?
In an ideal world, the government should not be a job creator – that’s the private sector’s job. But look around. The private sector banks and financial institutions were bailed out and are now doing little to nothing in return. We will be getting used to high unemployment- but what happens to the unemployed? We let them get tossed out on the street? Let them starve? Let their houses burn down like they did in Tennessee over a $75. fee?
The broker responded quickly. Apologized and said she’ll correct the error right away. I was actually pretty surprised as I didn’t mention I was a board member or anything, just a shareholder.
I once worked for a big Corp. HATED every second I was there. An architecture practice shouldn’t be run like a fortune 500. The creativity is lost. There’s only a handful of people that do the design and the other 200+ employees are programmed monkeys putting lines on the computer.
I preferred a mid-size firm. I was able to do everything and learned a lot more.
I’m thinking of going back into the profession. Having a baby requires $.
dave- but all the republicans would do is cut taxes, keep the Bush cuts and claim it will all work itself out. But it won’t. I agree the Obama adminstration has not done nearly enough or moved as aggressive as they should, but i have no confidence in the Republican platform, which is essentially “Let’s do more of the same.” Their track record as far as spending effectively is at least as bad, if not worse.
M$L – I wrote that about documenting everything. Did Dona also? Great minds and all that 🙂
Healthcare bill for one…see the link I posted above at 11:10 and all the trouble it has caused major corporations hiring part-time workers.

DIBS I would be more fearful if the OT were in fact the world as we know it.
