The men’s lunch club completed its weekly meeting a short time ago. Topics of discussion included: home industry, Rob, Chinese food, and the boobs of someone we all know.
*rob*, I have to say sometimes you really piss me off and really push your luck with me. I can take plenty of joking. And I have no problem with people who don’t like me. Plenty of people don’t like me, even here on the OT. But this is not mere dislike of 2 people who don’t get along – her dislike of me is not rationally based, arises from her personal issues, and it is totally unprofessional when she, my manager, makes ad hominem attacks in the workplace. And I’m very happy to say that of all the many people I’ve worked with and encountered here in the past 8 months, she is literally the only one who doesn’t like me.
I was just outside. Standing at the corner of the sidewalk by the curb cut were two men talking. I said ‘excuse me’ as I neared with my stroller. One slightly moved. I kept walking ‘accidentally’ hitting one with the wheel of the stroller. He said: Watch where you’re going. I replied: Watch where you’re standing having a conversation. You’re in the middle of the sidewalk, move to the side dumbass.
ugh! People are soooo stupid. Don’t they realize the curb cut at the sidewalks are for people in wheelchairs, stroller and cyclists riding on the sidewalks.
