jessi, coal isn’t actually all that dirty. There is “clean coal” and then there are other forms. Most utilities have sophisticated “scrubbers” on their smoke stacks.
China is actually closing most of it’s “dirty” coal mines and that’s why they are importing more clean coal (US has the cleanest) from us.
Don’t broadly dismiss coal as an efficient, cheap and oftentimes clean energy source.

rf: Read page 1 of the article. It’s about the same quality as the supposed expose they did on Goldman Sachs. I’ll ask you this: Can you actually look at us all with a straight face and tell us you think this is unbiased investigative reporting, as opposed to someone who had made up his mind well before writing this and went through all of the effort just to triumphantly announce the entire tea party movement is “full of shit” as if that constitutes anything more than throwing chum to a bunch of people who already agree with him?
