  1. “Agree with jessi’s teamaking method (only British people don’t say ‘steep’).”

OK but back to my question from yesterday — is this the secret English way of making tea that everyone accepts or are there different ways of making it?

I think you’re avoiding my question, etson. I think you’re just not going to give me the state secrets I’m asking for. I think there is a secret English way to make tea and you’re just not telling me what it is. WEARING A RED COAT TODAY ETSON? HMMMMMMM?????

  2. I just typed a long post about coal and then I got “Submission Error”. Oh, well, trying again, a little shorter this time…..Clean coal really refers to a process of power generation — with scrubbers as dibs pointed out — which removes much carbon, sulfur, metal particulate emissions. China is importing huge amounts of CAPP coal (Central Appalacian coal), a high BTU content coal, sending US Utilities scrambling for other domestic types. There are different amounts of metals and minerals in different types of coal but the biggest differentiator is energy content or BTU content.

The imposition of import duties as retaliation for China not complying with OUR ideas of how to handle the currency is a recipe for disaster, IMHO. It would hurt our precarious trade balance even more and probably get struck down in the courts of the WTO (World Trade Organization).

Back to work. Have a nice lunch today PLUSAs.

so my building’s management company gave us all this 3 page document enacting a ‘bed bug action plan’ to prevent anyone from getting an infestation and probably having it spread to the other 300 or so apts in the building.

that is suspicious. it sounds like your building probably ALREADY has them and they are either just covering their asses or trying to keep the infestation at bay. there’s a lot of eurotrash in your building right? europeans like bedbugs unfortunately and they are for the most part immune to them. luckily there’s no eurotrash or hipsters in my building which are the two biggest bedbug carriers
