bxgrl, Cobble, cmu and MM are the worst type of closed-minded people out there. They condemn an entire movement (the Tea Party) because they can only see the posters that the media shows them of the few nutjobs within the movement. Clearly they know not their American history and why the movement chose the name “Tea Party.” The basic economic premises of their movement are sound and the majority of the electorate can see that as evidenced by recent primaries.
It is sad that the liberals are among the worst offenders when it comes to having an open mind.
A film curator friend of mine just started a geenral arts commentary wordpress blog. I told her to keep posting on whatever she likes and eventually something will take off and she will have written about it. Maybe I should tell her about cobble’s friend’s friend’s site.
Dave-I know Hal and he has been around since brownstoner began. Long before you came on the scene dave, actually. he happens to be a great guy and not used to swimming in our shark infested waters.
So obviously my reading comprehension (which is extremely good, tyvm) is far less problematic than your talent for assumption 🙂
“CGsr- Hal has posted in the past. Actually he’s been on b’stoner longer than you and he is not a sock puppet.”
bxgrl, dear:
A. I know Hal’s been posting in the OT recently, but I hadn’t noticed him until a few weeks ago. How do you know he’s NOT a sock puppet?
2. I’ve been on Brownstoner since June 13, 2006, when the first Brownstone I bought and sold for you was HOTD, longer than most people here. I just didn’t pop into the OT until July 2009, something I’ve come to regret every day since. So what makes you think Hal has been on Brownstoner longer than me.

Third, are you Hal, bxgrl???
when I registered I tried to register as “Hal” but it was taken.
Is the fall in the dollar “misinformation,” MM???
I responded to Hal who did not respond to me other than to call out a barrage of vitriol and wish harm on me from a douchebag cyclist.
“Sounds like a pretty good distribution channel for my new line of lesbian claymation pornos.”
Go for it, probably more productive than what you do now! : P
“”you’re definitely members of the Tea Party movement.””
