Well, yes, fine. You’ve got me there. But otherwise do you agree with what I’ve said about the nature of the physical sciences and inductive reasoning?
I would have no problem voting for a Republican with a serious economic plan to reduce the deficit. The new ‘Promise’ or whatever program they are touting is long on platitudes and short on a plan.
BTW that well-known leftist rag, Barron’s, devoted its entire editorial page this week to noting that we are in dire need of a serious plan, and it will have to involve both spending cuts and tax increases.
And before any of you get too carried away googling inductive reasoning (cmu, you can stop now), I’ll just ask you this question:
If the sun has risen in the East for the past 100 million days, how, other than pointing that it has always been this way, do you know it will rise in the East again tomorrow? You will naturally start giving answers that rely on application of the physical sciences, but ultimately it will just come down to the same question; how, other than the inductive reasoning that your observations have always been thus can you say it will be that way tomorrow?
History is full of examples of inductive reasoning proving wrong. Perhaps we will learn someday that we are wrong about gravity.
On Saturday, I made lasagna with Italian hot sausage mixed with ground meat. Also the usual ricotta mixed with spinach. A couple of cheeses – mozzarella, Parmesean, Pecorino on top. Yum Yum. Also made eggplant parmesean.
Nothing like a little cholesterol.

That’s quite a leap in logic.
And that’s quite a leap for you, as I NEVER said that. You were the one who said you have a list of minority Republicans, as if that proves anything whatsoever. It was YOUR implication, by producing said list, that Republicans were all inclusive.
You are also being condescending in assuming that minorities who identify themselves as Democrats are somehow sheep who will follow any Democratic shepherd. Most of us know when or if we are being used or pandered to, and are capable of voting accordingly.
Perhaps it also goes the other way. One could cynically say that the Republican party, by appointing Michael Steele, when the Democratic candidate turned out to be a black man, is pandering to minorities by giving them their own black face in leadership. The fact that Steele is the worst RNC leader they’ve had in years, and a loose cannon and a social embarassment, shows that they were willing to throw any black person up there to counter Obama. The problem was they didn’t have too many to choose from who wanted the position. Bet you won’t see any more for a long time to come. But that would be cynical.
i love love love turkey meatballs!!!! now im getting hungry and i gotta food shop tonight i might make that.
also ive had turkey burgers in my freezer, frozen, but they are way passed the expiration date.. do you think they are still okay to eat even tho they are frozen?
