rf I’m really not sure what your question is here. Do you want to know if I am taking my kids from another school district to 107? I’m not. I live a couple blocks away and am zoned for the school. And I said I like saving money. I’m not on some kind of moral crusade about public vs. private. What exactly are you digging at?
“Politicians, indeed anyone in the public light, I could care less what they do in private, unless it is contrary to what they say in public.”
I agree with that. And to tie it back to what I said about the French public and their politicians, it goes both ways: French politicians don’t entangle themselves in matters of private morality like ours do.
frankly, his dallying, keeping this secret from his wife, etc – even his supposed obnoxious demeanor don’t matter —-
except for the fact that he is against same-sex marriage so seems like hypocrite.
Just as an observation, regarding those in so called leadership roles, politics and religion specifically – those who pontificate the loudest, damn the loudest, and make the loudest pronouncements on other people’s lifestyles and life choices usually have brontosaurus sized skeletons in their own closets, and are the biggest hypocrits on the planet. If I were Carl Paladino’s wife, I would probably go after him with a knife, but I never professed to being Mother Teresa in matters of the heart.
