I actually agree with ET on something. (And it’s not even raunchy.) I see these kids carrying backpacks that look like they’re going to pull them over backwards, or pulling carry-on bags on wheels bigger than I take with me for a week’s vacation.
i avoided that ALL thru 8th grade and up. all you have to do is make friends with some of the “bad” kids the first week of school, have them steal textbooks (the ones you need) and you keep one copy at home and one copy in school. i bartered by doing some of their papers and homework for them.
it’s cruel to make someone carry that many books, especially if they are commuting so long!!!
dont a lot of schools use e-textbooks these days tho?
I have a question for parents with kids in grades 1-5?
Do the NYC public schools allow kids to have snacks during class? or is there a certain period where snacks are given out by the teacher? or do you have to send your kid with a snack?
Parents I know just get their kids the basics before school starts & then buy as needed – they think the lists way overstate & a lot of the stuff is unopened/unused at the end of the year.
I don’t agree. It’s been very, very healthy for my daughter to have friends from the block, friends from elementary school, friends that are kids of my friends who also adopted from China around the same time. I’m sure Biff’s kids would keep at least some of their PS8 friends and other BH pals if they went to school in Manhattan.

“Sell enough humps and you can buy a little dump.”
I can say something about your little bump, hump and dump.
But why start raunch hour so early.
Arkady, it was on Gawker, but could probably find more footage on youtube: http://gawker.com/5645103/dem-chairman-sick-of-these-tea-party-fckers
Jessi, if a freaking ring is more important than the feelings of his fiance, she should forget about the ring and dump him.

I think if the bf wants to continue to have sex he should get the ring reset. Small price to pay, otherwise he’ll never hear the end of it.
“I’d be happy with that. Buy myself a little dump in Brooklyn Heights.”
