We do need gov’t workers and services.
It’s just that the unions are way out of touch with what’s going on, can’t police themselves and are run by a minority who are responsible only to themselves.
When union employees get layed off or fired they have only their own management to blame.
rob, more than likely, the “twatwaffle” has money in the bank, or good credit, or perhaps family and friends who can back them. Or better social connections. I don’t begrudge them their success. Their road just isn’t mine.
“As the government provides, among other things services and infrastructure to the people, damn well it’s no different than other employers and does create wealth.”
Rob – meaning I am the one that makes more money, so without my income now coming in it affects the way we pay bills – jesus not like I am supporting a scrub! he’s hgot a J.O.B – it’s just mine paid more
MM – Before I was divorced, I was a venture capitalist in 2 small businesses.
(I actually was allowed to keep those 2 investments and my car. That’s it!)
My point is, that there is money available, even now, for investment.
Now those 2 businesses had fully formed business plans and the founders had track records. But I can tell you, it is very hard to find viable, small businesses to invest in.
If you want to make it happen, and you are 100% committed, you will get a shot.

Oki doki. I think once you get there, everything is ok, it is just a mess figuring out how to break the law.
