I sincerely doubt that anyone on this site is advocating for USSR-style big government. But Scandinavian style? That’s a more viable model, and it does work.

GIMME A BREAK – I’ve only been laid off since June and have been looking for a decent paying job hours a day. I network with old friends/coworkers etc so I can try to get a job in media. I have taken many classes to help me further my career in marketing and now am contemplating even taking an EXEC asst job so I can get a salary in my house again and I plan to get my masters – I am even willing to take a pay cut just so I can get working again UGH you have no idea how ridiculous it is out here looking for a job
many jobs I would love to have pay $35K and expect someone who has years of experience!
CAN YOU LIVE OFF OF $35K? I can’t! I am the breadwinner in my family so I have to bring home more than $60K so we can survive!

I pay $382 a month to friggin COBRA and oh I have to pay $250 to my friggin 401K outstanding loan not to mention all my other bills-so please spare me the garbage talk – ok?

Reduce social security/medicare payments. better.
Let the insurance companies & big pharma run the health system. best.
The problem with Libertarians is that they think they live in the Wild West and can survive by their own hands and wits (except for building infrastructure, it seems, but hat is not normal Libertarian philosophy).
