Gem, Just make sure they aren’t sending your resume out without your approval. Many of the calls I get from recruiters are crap. Trying to ram a square peg into a round hole. Be sure to get a job description and don’t let them shine you one about the job too much.
OK…THIS MAY BE THE MOST ASININE THING I”VE EVER SEEN……
Bentley ‘Flying B’ Hood Ornament Injury Risk Prompts U.S. Recall
Sept. 21 (Bloomberg) — Bentley hood ornaments may injure pedestrians in a crash, leading the luxury carmaker to recall 596 vehicles in the U.S.
Corrosion may develop on a device that retracts the emblem, known as the “flying B,†in a collision, preventing the unit from operating and increasing injury risks, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, which posted the recall on its website.
The recall covers 2007 to 2009 Arnage, Azure and Brooklands models, the safety agency said. Dealers for the Volkswagen AG brand will replace the retractable “B†mechanism free of charge, the agency said.
so do you think real ‘users’ did the bidding? or developers?
(and I don’t believe was foreclosure(mortgage), just a court ordered auction—could be for backruptcy, tax lien, or business/family dispute.)
Gem – find out if the recruiter is with a legit firm.
“as long as I’m hold a bag of something, I’m fine in most hoods as folks just think I’m delivering take-out”
LMAO, m4l!
Dave, that is RIDICULOUS about the Bentley hood ornaments!
Gem, in my personal experience only, I’ve always found head hunters totally useless.

Dibs -I agree with you! I use craiglist as my last resort of my daily job hunt and I agree with you about “the fit” issue
thanks guys – I will go and give it a shot – I don’t have a choice anymore to be picky so you never know.
I’m not saying all recruiters are bad. many are very professional and very good. the best ones are those focused on a particular industry.

sebb, lis pendens does not always mean foreclosure. As others pointed out, and to which I agree, it sounded like some sort of family/estate matter.

One of my good friends is a recruiter for graphic designers – she gets people jobs all of the time.
