  1. “cobble, jag ornament doesnt retract vs this does”

    Yes, and your point is??

“Bentley hood ornaments may injure pedestrians in a crash”

Especially since the Jaguar ornament doesn’t retract, it would HURT, in an accident. Possibly quite a bit, you nut ball!

  2. you guys are awesome! – I did a google search and this company doesn’t get good reviews at all – most people said it was a waste of their time and that indeed it was a bottom of the barrel type place!
    THANKS!

  3. Gem, some are very good and very reputable. As Dave said, the good ones are industry specific and the best ones are ones that are simply hired by the firm looking to fill positions. They will be paid no matter what and many of these people are experts in the field they are covering and know everybody and can be good to know. (Probably your friend). Sometimes you can form a relationship with the recruiter — they call you up asking you about a particular person or asking you about finding a person for a job they are trying to fill. Sometimes you can use a recruiter to approach a firm that you know well but they may be able to finesss a meeting with people that you might not be able to handle gracefully. These are the higher end ones. Sorry to have scared you. There is a whole science to using these higher end people.

Having said that, I agree with Dave that the Craigs list ones are probably the greasy salesman variety — low end, contingent and borderline people. But go anyway, just insist that under no circumstances your resume goes to anyone without your knowledge. And do not share where you have been before. Get your own read. No problem with that.
