  1. I refuse to pay any more attention to this nonsense. Let him blogacide…again. Who the eff cares? I’m sure anyone that wants to talk to him knows how to reach him. We were having a nice, adult discussion before that. Anyone care to return to it?

  2. “doesn’t make you any more american than the rest of us.”

You’re all talking about where you’re from, what am I chopped liver? Am I not allowed to say it? C’mon, Pete.

  3. “Lech, *THWACK*!!! I understood that statement!”

Oh come on, don’t tell me you’ve never been eating a raw oyster and thought to yourself “you know, if this were about 98.6 degrees it would be just like…..”

  4. “I have no idea if any of those people owned people. ”

If you go back far enough its pretty much impossible to avoid your ancestors at some point being owned or owning. People were either serfs, or slaves, or their owners. Serfdom and Slavery goes way back, the Slavs were slaves, the Romans had white and black slaves, black africans owned other black africans, Arab slave trading started way back and continued on until very recently. Your genetic ancestors were likely in one campe or the other or both at some point. Having said that, I have no knowledge of the historical serfdom or slavery situation in Asian countries.
