Small world story….
I was at the fish monger/produce place I go to in Plumsteadville (Bucks County) on Saturday and got some clams. The lady next to me rematked that the oysters were great looking but she didn’t know how to open them. I remarked that I get great oysters in brooklyn for $1.00 each on Wednesdays. She said: “You live in Brooklyn?” I said yes and then she said she live in NYC too and I asked her wherebaouts and she said 54th & Lexington. I knew there was only one residential building at that corner so I said “Number 135???” and she said yes.
I used to live in that bulding and it turns out she lives on the samr floor that I did!!!!!
The person behind the counter was flabergasted!!!

That subway stop at 53rd & Lex is absolutely the WORST in the city.
