  1. “that is insane legion. why is it that in ny you cant have a gun in your own home in case of intruders? im sorry but if someone breaks into your home you DO have the right to shoot them in the face.”

Would Rob’s fan club please correct him here. Thx.

  2. If you read the story, it’s about appropriate response. He was not arrested for possession of a gun. he’ll likely get off as he only fired warning shots.

Given what they say about that gang out there he better stock up on ammo.

  3. Etson, I know. I think I figured out what happened. The Fedex system defaults to the Chancery Lane address in Bromley — 22 Chancery Lane — maybe because the system is organized aphabetically since Bromley is before Westminster. In effect, it is telling the FEDEX guy, that the street address does not match the code, i.e. should be looking for a BR code. In order for the FEDEX guy to have gotten an OK, I would have had to specify Westminster. This is strictly a FEDEX thing I think. And the guy who runs back and forth making copies at Kinkos doesn’t really know anything about how their system works. I’ll get there. Thanks.

of course if there were no guns that would be nice, but seriously be realistic.

  5. dona,
Bromley does not have a London postcode. Postcodes start ‘BR’ there. It’s in the outer suburbs – no chance of its ending up there.
When I googled the postcode you gave it was on Chancery Lane in central London.
