    Give me sashimi and I’m a happy girl….altho I do loove spicy tuna.
    AND stop with the ridiculous names with the sushi that has different types of fish and a sprig of parsley sticking out of it. I HATE those rolls. AND I HATE people that like those rolls. Indicates to me that their palate for true sushi is false.

  3. Changing the subject…..Happy new year to you Slopefarm and members of your tribe. This is the natural new year I think — autumn. Everybody gets energized and it seems to be the time to start new things. I was sitting on my stoop last night (everybody in the hood likes it) and in the hallowed tradition, drinking a glass of wine, enjoying the breeze and the night and the neighbor parade and feeling pretty good about everything and the change of season.

  4. dona — Is there an etiquette on the ginger pickles? I probably overdo it or use my fingers too much (probably any finger use is too much, although I wish they were in uniform size slices).
