oh, youre talking about canned food, not dried food. that’s a whole nother can of worms. when it comes to dry food it’s totally different when it comes to pricing structure.
my roommates dog has been eating tiki dog in a can lately and it’s like real human food! when i opened up a can i was tempted to try a taste it looked that good. lately she likes something different every week! i would need like 20 cans of that for my dog. i had a talk with him tho recently about the cost of food and that’s gonna have to stuck it up and eat Pedigree at the beginning of the month and C’Mon Get It at the end of the month. he was fine
Legion, the news services had some video a few weeks ago of a customer who wanted Chicken Nuggets during breakfast hour and she couldn’t get them since it wasn’t Nugget time and she reached in and started punching people and then kicked in the drive in window. Did you see that? (That wasn’t YOU in a wig was it???? : ) ) That stuff is BAD for your heart, Doctor. A friend of mine likes POPEYES. Good God.
DCB, I just got my brownstone appraised. I think it was complicated by the fact that there are not all that many comps. It came in 18% below the early 2006 appraisal I got (this before the renovation of two floors). And it is 25% below where I estimate the late 2007 frothy highs to have been, including the full renovation. (I was much better then at targeting these things since I was obsessively watching the sales). The appraisal came in a little under where I thought it would. My HELOC was reduced by Citi during the shitstorm in 2008 and I decided to try to get it restored to the former level. BTW, that kind of slobby unprofessional broker behavior is so typical of the NYC real estate market.
also all those cable shows and dramas are just like organic food. overpriced and you getting the exact same fluff and crap but because people over pay for it (i.e. ridiculous cable prices) they believe and are conditioned to think they are getting of something higher quality. nuh-uh!
americans next top model 11 starts next week. and it’s free! WOO WOO. the characters on that show almost ALWAYS beat out the cast of characters on cable drama shows and cable reality tv shows.
I love nothing more than when you tell me you don’t believe me *rob*. Like that night you thought I was prank-calling or prank-texting you, remember??? And it turned out to be real, and not me, and then you had to apologize. You never learn *rob*.
There is no such thing as Gourmet Alpo. I stopped feeding it to her during the pet food recall in 2007, when organic brands like Whole Foods were the only ones not recalled. She licks her bowl clean night after night. She loves Whole Foods organic. It makes her happy. She’s 15-1/2, and I like her to be happy. It’s 89 cents/can. Used to be 79 cents for beef and turkey, and 89 for lamb, but now they’re all 89. Alpo was $1.19/can.

Why do I think Mopar wrote this piece?

(Will resist evil comment about what Rob should watch on TV and the fact that he even watches TV.)

because much of organic food is not regulated or tested by the FDA!!! tho perhaps one could argue that is a good thing… but not in this case.

Maybe rob would be happier if he had a can of that dog food. Obviously the BJ did him no good.
