I LOVE Whole Foods. There’s one near my office. And CDog licks her bowl clean when she eats their brand dog food, which is 30 cents less / can than the Alpo I fed her before the pet food recall.
you must have been buying gourmet alpo because that statement doesnt make any sense, i really dont believe you. besides like someone else, it’s the same stuff but they slap their name on the product and get a cut from the company and then overcharge pocketing the money. i’d be embarrassed if someone was snooping in my cupboards and saw Whole Foods written on something!
totally agree MM – i find the subplots involving the supporting characters much more interesting than Sookie and the vamps usually. jason stackhouse is great! same with tara. hopefully they tie it all together well at the end!
I bid on a brownstone 2 weeks ago. My bid was 10% below ask. Even though I am cheap by nature, based on comps, that bid was fair.
The broker said the offer was too low and the owner wasn’t interested in negotiating, but she would call me in a week. A week went by and I didn’t hear anything, I called her and left a message. No response.
I am over this particular house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(And this particular broker)
DH, I watch True Blood. I love the characters on the show. I think Ryan Kwateen’s “Jason” is one of the best characters on the show. He is so utterly and sincerely dim-witted, probably couldn’t find Louisiana on a map, but has a sense of right and wrong that makes him do the right thing when it really counts, even though it complicates his life, and he probably doesn’t even understand why he’s doing it.
There are a lot of great characters on the show. Plus enough fake blood and ick to fill lots of crystal urns.
Now I’m caught up. And I almost wish I wasn’t. TMI Award of the Day shared by jester and *rob*.

Gem, I love Madmen too — one of the few shows I watch these days. And I HATE the tip jars.
