My first intro to Asia was Hong Kong. It was then that I realized why the Asians in SF Chinatown were so damn pushy at the fish counters. I almost vowed to never go back there or to any other country in the region, but once I got used to things I changed my mind. Asia is such a fun place.
for some reason i do not mind the chinese pushing and shoving their way in and out. at least they are fast and efficient and keep the flow going. it’s the mooonfaces and river rats walking at a snails pace while texting and yapping on their cell phones up and down the stairs that annoy me.
“I also conveniently left out the part where prezanon mentioned he/she has never met me.”
Huh. Really. I’m getting more and more suspicious by the minute!

“Forget it in Hong Kongon the train or an elevator….they just push right on no matter how many people standing at the door to exit.”
interesting – since in my experience the worst ‘pushers’ are the asians on the 7 train presumably heading out to Flushing. Must be a cultural thing.
Qui est prezanon?
