Yes, I knew Heather was in Clinton Hill but she never comes to the OT, so technically is she a PLUSA?
I wonder how she is liking Deny’s Delice. The owner is David. I really think he is going to be OK there. He is a hard working friendly guy who makes INCREDIBLE food and I think he has even dropped his prices a little. But little crowds have been reported. I am really happy for the guy.
Snaps – whatever she does – don’t buy a Bosch Dishwasher. We have now had 2 (1 in the rental and 1 in the new place we own now) and hate them – they have a real “Dishwasher odor” and it never seems to dry the dishes. Once I get a job we can buy a new one
We had Frigidiare in our house for 7 years – never a problem ever and cleaned the dishes well and never had a funny smell!
yeah it grossed me out to find out that the meat in wendy’s chili is leftover bits of the burgers… i actually prefer the batches with more beans than meat. i get grossed out if a meat piece is TOO big. i hope i find a finger in my wendy’s chili like that lucky lady did a few years and got a couple millions of dollars for it.
Hey folks, Momma Snaps needs help. She’s looking to buy a new dishwasher. What brands are best? What to avoid? She doesn’t want to drop a lot of dough. Suggestions? She’s thinking GE, Fisher & Paykel, LG. She refuses to buy Electrolux/Fridgidaire.
“Etson, now you’re a Toronto PLUSA.
UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!!!”
Why? Because it’s even further out than Bay Ridge?!
For PLUSA purposes I am now a Park Slope PLUSA as I have my place there now. Kind of like a reverse DIBS.
I now have “Part time PLUSA” going through my head to the tune of “Part Time Lover”
omg <3!! they caught the cat burgler bandit around the corner from me here in soho!!
“Yesterday, a woman entered a Soho shop on Greene Street “dressed in black, with a black scarf around her face and wearing a cat mask” and used a gun to rob the store. Yes, the cat mask-wearing lady bandit (video), who apparently robbed two other stores while wearing the mask and another store while veiled.
Shanna Spalding, 28, of Queens, was arrested and found with a silver gun. According to the Post (which has a photo of her but she’s not wearing the mask), she “sings with a death-metal band called Divine Infamy under her stage name, Purgatory.” The paper also made sure to keep up the cat puns: “She allegedly threatened to shoot up the place if she didn’t get her paws on the dough.””

to most people who have lived in Park Slope for 20, 30, 40 years and more there was NO SUCH THING as South Slope. South Slope is a name made up by real estate agents as of late (maybe the last 8 years or so)
my husband’s friends -all black dudes from Park Slope and Prospect Hts would never call where we live now “south slope” it was all park slope. True, many people didn’t venture past 12th street according to my husband back in the day as it was pretty desolate and 7th avenue didn’t really have that many stores that weren’t different from where he grew up on Sterling
