I can deal with it when people have other opinions- but I don’t respect opinions based on ignorance and prejudice. You make it sound like trying to open a dialogue between Muslim Americans is a bad thing. I see it as a plus. You are automatically assuming the worst of the Initiative- I don’t. I keep an open mind. You claim to not be brainlessly spouting a party line, yet you have been saying the party line all along.

And I did try to find out what it was about, and came away with a more negative view of it based on what I found.
As for closemindedness – I look at each issue indivdually rather than just brainlessly spouting a party line. You just can’t deal with it when people have other opinions.
