  1. Oh Dibs….

OH NO – of course since I haven’t been working and only taking the R train when I have an interview which is always after 10am I haven’t experienced a packed R
So basically by removing the M train, they didn’t replace the M with a few extra R trains to haul passengers??

    UGH!!!

  2. quote:
“They chose a black president for the first time in U.S. history,” adding that he thought once that would never be possible.”

uh, well for what it’s worth that have been MANY US Presidents with black ancestry

  3. Says a Japanese politician:

“I don’t think Americans are very smart, but I give extremely high credit for democracy and choices by its people,” he said. “They chose a black president for the first time in U.S. history,” adding that he thought once that would never be possible.”

When will we see a Japanese president of Korean ancestry?

  4. quote:
I rode the R yesterday for the firs time in ages. I really feel for the folks living off that line. That line after Labor Day is going to be down right awful. I used to commute from Sunset Park and I never saw the R as crowded as I did yesterday.

im organizing a protest labor day weekend to get the M train back. yes, the R has gotten insane and it’s going to be HORRIBLE once all the riff raff go back to school and people get back from vacation. i cant believe they made such a huge drastic change in train service in that section of park slope. despite what many people think the neighborhood is not just full of stay at home parents writing novels and crap. there’s a ton of people who work day jobs. GRRRRRR
