“Last weekend I was in Brooklyn Heights cause I haven’t been there in a while.”
a while = 24 hours.
Crumbs closes at 11pm because by then, the locals have already gotten their cupcakes (re-write?) and Crumbs knows that frizzy-haired visitors from South Brooklyn invade around that time. They realized it wouldn’t be profitable to stay open and deal with such ne’er-do-wells who would insist on begging for samples without actually buying anything.
Last weekend I was in Brooklyn Heights cause I haven’t been there in a while. I figure I’d check out Crumbs and get a cupcake. Well, at 11pm on a weekend evening they were closed! And the Starbucks across the street as well. Um, why does everything on Montague close early? It’s the weekend, there’s people meandering the streets to the promenade.
I wonder if a cafe opened on Montague and stayed open late if it would do a robust business.
Gosh, that nabe is so sleepy.
ET, put out. See my first post, please. Not like you don’t live in my nabe as it is, so location isn’t a problem (not that that’s ever inhibited you before).
“What next? You’ll start discussing politics, the economy and social issues?”
We did that yesterday! Well, the social and political part anyway. Where’s legion? Surely he has some more ‘back up’ for his opinion/position! Larry King had a panel on his show last night discussing the Cultural Center/Mosque. It was very interesting to hear the various (4) view points.
“I’m not your fucking trampoline.”
ET forgot to remove “not” and “oline” from that line.

You are one of a kind, ET. 🙂
Hi CGar! I saw your 1st post and ignoring it. I’m not your fucking trampoline.

I saw that, too, ENY! We had a good chuckle over it. (“Wait! No, It’s a straight line!”)

Hell yes!
Where is Legion? I want to talk to him about Fox News’ playing the Republicans dirty!
